I love how the artist has achieved motion in this swan !~
Awesome swan, except when I seen him I thought he was a fish! His colour is lovely, such a bright blue- the curved back neck is also so elegant
Lovely to see Sfumato technique in this colour.

Phil thank you for your fabulous comment, this is really a great pose with the swan leaning back as if preening his feathers, very unusual & so glad you liked it!
Thank you Lauren for your marvelous praise, I can see the fish image as the swan is almost in a 'fishtail dive' (a ballet term I'm sure you are familiar with, the ballerina jumping into her partner's arms with leg bent like a swan's wing). I agree about the color and elegance, I was very lucky to obtain this stateside & not have to wait too long to receive it, Konstglas always delights with their vastly different animal designs
Really appreciate your kind comment ClassyGlass, it really was a joy to get this in the blue as it can also be found in the usual dark grey & white sfumato, and blue glass is always nicer for a swan
