I wanted to share my newest Loetz vase, in the 'Nautilus' decor; it arrived yesterday, and I was thrilled to see it in person. It is in a candia martelé ground, with twisted tadpoles and prunts on 3 sides, and stands just under 5" tall. The prunts and tendrils have a wonderful blueish iridescence to them that sets off the different textures very well.
The seller was kind enough to let me use her lovely photographs here - mine would never look as good! I also want to thank a very good friend for pointing out this vase to me; I am keeping my eyes open for you! :)
