This bear is about 5.25" long x 3.25" high x 1.5" deep. His viking label has survived. This is the only example of this bear that I have seen.

I was in a hurry when I loved on your bear. I wanted to say how cool his design is, that you can stand him up or lay him down( hibernating?) . His sleek glaze (?),remember I know nothing when it comes to glass, is so finely done, makes him beautiful.
I love bears! Have only seen two in the wild. Once in a canyon I used to live, he was climbing a small English Walnut tree, and it wouldn’t hold his weight. Then just a few months ago, my Daughter & I saw a Mama bear & cub, fat and fluffy with winter coats! Such a privilege
to see them, and yes, we kept our distance, though Michele wanted to get closer to take a picture. By the time she was ready to shoot, they were gone..
      Phew! ....silky girl!

Thanks for your comments, Eileen! Bears can be scary in the wild, for sure, especially momma and babies. I should re-shoot this Viking Glass bear to better capture the blue color. Yes, the ability to edit our comments would be a great gift from CW!
