Made in the early 20th century. The older the mosaic, the smaller the tesserea (pieces of inlaid colored glass). This chain already has larger inlaid pieces of glass as the very old ones from the first half of the nineteenth century, as the bottom chain (lady with child) shows (image 3 and 4).

First of all, thank you for your compliment. I have different pieces of furniture for my jewelry. My micro mosaic collection is in a small antique wooden display cabinet that is in my living room so that I can often enjoy it. But this little cupboard is almost full of this kind of jewelry.
