This 2" geometric pattern brooch has scattered square amethyst rhinestones surrounded by small pink stones, in a rhodium setting. By Bogoff (1946-1959) from the 1950s

Lovely snowflake in pinks. Nice to see the larger focus stones surrounded with smaller stones. Really shows beautifully.
Viewing the brooch at different angles has a kaleidoscope effect. It really is a very beautiful brooch.

Thank you so much DejaVu for your two awesome comments/compliments for this brooch, I can now see the snowflake & esp the kaleidoscope effect, the angular center is very unusual for a Bogoff who was mostly very traditional

Thanks mikelv85 for the very kind compliment, I'm really glad you liked this piece. Bogoff always did beautifully colored stones, they had a sparkle & symmetry that was unique to them, and many of their pink designs were among their best (I fortunately have a few)
