Loetz Orange Chine Metallisirt, ca. 1892 (Turbot & Mayer commission?)

Orange Chiné Metallisirt, ca 1890s. Orange chine is primarily mentioned in the early paper pattern notes, and was not seen after series I. Some pieces were also done for Turbot & Mayer in Paris, but again, none after 1900. So it's fairly uncommon to see them, especially in the incredible condition that this one exhibits. Each foot of the metal mount is stamped with the Letter V and number 308. Turbot & Mayer pieces were primarily made for metal mounts, so it is likely that this is a commissioned piece for them - the mount is in the style of other marked T&M pieces of that time period.
