I was up early Saturday morning and had my eye on this beautiful slag glass lamp that was going up for auction. I got to the sale and managed to pick this up and another small slag glass lamp to go with the other lamps in my collection. This lamp is dated July 6, 1909 and has six panels and is 24 inches tall and works perfect, like the day it was new. The lamp is sitting in the dining room and looks great at night. I talked to the daughter at the sale that was having to sell her moms possessions because of her death. She said someone had broke into the house and had taken things. She said she had this wrapped up in an old blanket and they must not have seen it. I told her the lamp was going to have a good home and that it would be taken good care of and enjoyed for many years to come.
