I am showing a couple of 'serpent vases' today. The first is this lovely Rindskopf rose bowl vase in the Pepita colours.
A lovely thing, although a bit of a chunky lump. This is the only Rindskopf piece I own (I think). Colours are highly iridescent and sits well among other bronze and red glass.
Unfortunately the metal frog shows some wear and oxidization, but probably adds to it's character.
Some minor chips on the rim as is common with pieces like this - I've never really understood how a vase with a metal cover on its rim gets damaged in the first place - all in all a nice thing!
