Kralik - the Koi fish basket

This is a Kralik 1920s knuckle bowl (or basket). It is orange cased with maroon white and orange millefiori; there are also hand pulled rods throughout it. It reminds me of a Koi fish. I couldn’t really display this piece too much (as much as I love it- it kept waking me up at night when it’s weird eyes and sinister whiskers. It is however the vase that made me want to collect this glass in the first place- It was the second piece I ever bought... and it just got traded to another collector (to keep up at night with its sinister stare)
