The brothers Marcolin, how good!
That's a really lovely fish! Fish always make such interesting sculpture pieces I think, especially those sorta disc shaped tropical ones like that. I think with his simplistic colour and sleek look he could make a very interesting centerpiece in a bathroom too along with shells and interesting rock specimens :D

Thanks Karen for the super compliment, yes the Marcolin brothers were pretty interesting - I may have the history a bit skewed but seems they began in an Italian glass factory (Murano?) then came to FM Konstglas Sweden, then got their own FM Marcolin co that started in Sweden (this label says made in Sweden above name) then later moved the business to another country, perhaps Italy again. My kind of folks, always on the move lol
Lauren thank you for the wonderful praise and yes this fish would look great on a bathroom shelf, appreciate the idea I may use that! Agree that fish are always interesting subjects, I esp love their variety of colors & think this one could be an aquarium star with his blended blues & that fab tail appears to be moving. Glad that fish are a popular glass animal as have more ahead :)
