Anew arrival this week it was a very pleasant surprise in the add it was 13 cm but on arrival 13 inches!
The quality of the painting is amazing lots of little details . on custard glass not milk .
There is a foil sticker on the inner base which reads " The Irresistible Antique and Arte Shope " the spelling leads me to believe a US retailer .
I' d love to know where and when they existed .
Also who do you think made or decorated it ???

Beautiful-- looks like a lot of glass that I have seen IDd as Harrach. Any markings (numbers) on the bottom?

Thanks Aldo and Alfredo Scott & Leah and all for the loves ..
I like it to be Harrach the quality sure is there . there is a faint mark on the base that I can imagine to be the remainder of a Harrach mar but know is just wishful thinking .

Lear , House rule is I have to sell so I can buy .. so I've managed to get rid of some things I no longer need . and lucky to find some I can afford . I won another piece that I'll post but it arrived with an enormous crack from top to bottom , the seller came good and refunded my money and said keep the vase . it was their bad packing that caused it .. sob ...

Hi Scott lots of colour photos , but you can imagine covering 300 years of production there are lots more that one would like to see ... It would be imposible to fit it all in one book I guess a terabyte of hard drive space might do it !
The book puts the production into historical perspective .
I still have not finished reading it cover to cover ... bl***Y life keeps interfering ...but have perused all , and love it! I have a passion for Harrach...
