Despite the fact that this vase has some very minor loss of enamel, something which may put me off a piece from time to time, I simply had to have it. I have always loved and envied some of the exquisite Harrach bird vases posted by Warren, Inky, Marty and others in the past and have always been on the lookout for one. But when I spotted this I thought it was just so cute I had to have it.
Warm yellow to a rich ruby red and stands a little over 4.7" (12cm) with a footprint of just 1.5" (4cm). Possibly one of the smallest Harrach bird vases I'm likely to find.
It's gorgeous, I can see why you had to have it, a lovely example of a bird vase and so small! What amazing detail in something so tiny.
It's a cliché, but perhaps the best things do come in small parcels. Beautiful!
Fabulous, I love it!!
Oh la la ..... lovely!
