    These are of my father. The first is him in 1944 showing off the used bike a neighbor had just given him. Dad's family was very poor and could never afford to buy him one. The neighbor--old man Meaney-- had an extra and gave it to my dad. Look at his face. That's a happy kid! He was like thirteen years old and that's his first bike... It looks like a Columbia maybe. Anyway, fast forward sixty or so years and there he is in the second picture showing off the 1936 Elgin I restored for him. While he enjoyed the gesture he never did ride it. His right knee was to painful by this time.. Guess I waited to long. Thanks for looking!

      That man of many names...PhilDavidAlexanderMorris... Has taken my fathers photo from the 1940's and worked his magic. Check it out! I've made it the first picture you see and moved the original over to the far right. I love it! Thanks Phil for making a great old photo look new again!!!
