Two or three months ago I spotted two JIP vases in a Welz décor called Oxblood and Green. I had never seen Welz JIPs before and as I have other pieces in Oxblood and Green I put in a bid which I thought would be ample. Wrong! So when I saw another pair of JIPS in the Welz décor Harlequin Honeycomb I decided to up my bid......but blanched at what I'd have to pay.
However one morning I received an email from a friend suggesting we buy them and each have one. So a happy outcome all round.
Harlequin Honeycomb has a white lining and therefore looked at face on (image two) the colours of the head of the vase are delicately muted.
Height 24 cm./9.5 inches
I love this form!! They never cease to surprise!!

Me too welzebub, particularly in image four where the angle shows the tiny foot, without which the shape wouldn't be right.

How lovely to have such a variety of shapes in one decor. I've not seen the JIP or the candle holder at the back before. And how funny that you were expecting Oxblood and green! I'd not come across the decor until yesterday..now I'm reading it's fairly common, lol. I'd love to see the Oxblood and green JIP, could you get a photo of it? :)
I was outbid on the Oxblood and Green pair......perhaps I should have made that clearer.......
I finally get to see it! Beautiful, sklo. I am happy you were able to get the Harlequin - it is so pretty in this example! (And one of my favorite decors...) :)
I feel very lucky to have this one, Michelle, as the shape is different from all the others.....perhaps the organic nature of the top......
