Nicely done blue vases with oranges pulls from an unknown maker. The big one (4 1/2" x 10 1/4") has an illegible scribbling on the bottom..... maybe a signature of the craftsman that done it. The small one (4" x 8 1/4") is stamped with Czechoslovakia.

Fabulous find...... Although these were attributed to Kralik years ago by an early researcher, I am of the opinion that they are not Kralik production. I have several pieces which are from this "line", in different shapes, but sharing many aesthetic commonalities and marks.

The illegible mark on your one example is simply remnants of the ink mark like the other example still has.

I love these pieces, and am infatuated with this line, whoever the maker is.

Other than pieces in this aesthetic and color range, what other pieces by Kralik use or exhibit a colored ink mark? What exactly makes this mark in colored ink a Kralik mark?? Asking for a curious friend.

      Still a very interesting mark.

I think it was made in some glassworks in the Teplice area. Franz Tomschick or Pallme Koenig or ..?
