Oh it was a glorious digger hoarder sale! This house was jam packed! You would look carefully in a room, come back for sweep two after people had picked off a top layer, and there was more stuff.

Lots of the "collectables" were priced at retail. The obvious stuff. This gal doesn't pay retail to I passed on by...

Then, in the basement, I saw this little vase (6" tall) sitting on a ledge of the bare walls, and thought...that kinda looks like Moorcroft...BAM!! Why yes it is...

$3 since it was SO filthy they must have missed the marks (yea me!)

It is marked the Potter to the late Queen Mary. That dates it from between 1953 and 1978. 25 years after death ends the honor.

Believe this is a Pansy line

I bought a TON of stuff there, got a little carried away, but prices for the most part were so cheap. Do you think I am going back for 1/2 price day today! Hell yea!!!

Ooh another gorgeous Moorcroft looking bowl..where do you find them! Lol.
On another note. You may have already seen this..
Aims says you have it now. Im just curious if its neodymium glass (I've a fascination with the stuff at the moment), i found one similar here..
    4. AmberRose AmberRose, 7 years ago
Hey VF! Nope not neodymium just sweet purple glass. It held vintage Easter doodads and will move on to flowers...

I appreciate all the love and atta gals! V...Hmmm, I am impressed with Moorcroft but do not believe it will be added to my collect list. But, I have sat it in a place yo let it grow on me.
Went back for 1/2 price day today. All that I wanted was gone but still managed to buy a bunch of junk. The Moorcroft was definitely a highlight.
      Mike I totally get it.
Racer, is the cream more desired? Thought it was the opposite.

Went to a gorgeous Estate Sale in Rancho Santa Fe on Friday.... Most things were in thousands... Dining room table was $37K, nook table $5K, etc. I couldn't even buy the toilet paper!!!
    15. AmberRose AmberRose, 7 years ago
Wow, was it fun eye candy? Or just super annoying?
    16. AmberRose AmberRose, 7 years ago
Fluff, I at this sale I also picked up about 150 cards from 1951 (52 and 53). So cheap I couldn't pass up the graphics.
