The 1 1-2" silvertone brooch & 3-4" clip earrings have a nicely sculpted, marcasite style openwork clam shell pattern with white rhinestones, each piece having a faux pearl "inside" the shell. Vintage Kramer of New York (1943-1980), signature on brooch only, miniscule patent # on earring clips

Gorgeous ! I just love the design of this set. The cut outs and all those lovely rhinestones. And of course the single pearl, brings it all together beautifully ! :)

Greatly appreciate the luv aura & Roy, thank you kindly
A very beautiful set - I love these - do you think 1960's?
These are wonderful with the pearls. I remember before I started to collect any costume jewellery, a fantastic Kramer set being sold by an auction site, and it was incredible, they made some very fine rhinestone sets earlier.

Thank you for the kind compliment Val, I think you're pretty on target with the year - on that very informative site illusion jewels, they have that Kramer mark from between 1955-early 1960s. Louis Kramer founded the co in 1943, whether Kramer of NY or just plain Kramer, all the same co

Phil, you got me looking at the Kramer archives...
Here's another example of their wonderful craft.
Look how small the brooch is? And now look at the number of rs set in..
Yes, pave' set, but do you see any glue?
Nope...
I said I "didn't get the appeal" of Kramer's Dior line until I looked at Phil's link here...
