Here is a 1 3-4"W pair of swimming fish brooch with gold nugget heads, red eyes & dark blue enamel bodies on goldtone. By Trifari from the 1990s

They look to me like a pair of deep sea fish, or some cod maybe? I love their deep inky blue colour, it looks black almost? I imagine them as part of a massive shoal swimming in the really deep parts of the North Atlantic! :P
Always love the fish you post. Funny tidbit is I nicknamed one of my bosses 'The Fish' yrs ago.

Ah Lauren I just love your fabulous interpretations & can now see these fish swimming in a shoal in the North Atlantic, lovely picture! And I totally agree on the color, it IS inky and appears black unless you look real close. Wonderful praise and I am so glad this is a favorite

Lol about your boss nickname, you have me wondering on the reason - he had a fish looking face, ate alot of fish, or maybe had a last name like Pesce which is fish in Italian :)
