This is a 22 inch manikin made for the Luxite company to display lingerie . I actually had a salesman sample of her with all the clothes in miniature size that a door to door salesperson could show and you could order in adult size . She also would have sat on a store counter to display the sample clothes . Made in 1940s . Maker unknown .
She is missing her stand that would say Luxite . WAs lucky I just had to clean her and not rebuild her :-) She is a bit sexy in black robe. Nude is prior to cleaning .
She's beautiful and so lifelike, such a pretty pendant & lovely black robe

This piece of yours is in superlative condition, and I know condition is everything on these treasures. I would have studied these very carefully when they were in the shop and especially if the salesmen were present !~
