Carl Goldberg was one of the most versatile refiners out there, mastering almost every technique imaginable. They did a lot of this metal oxide reduction type decoration (don't ask me how it's done, I don't know) :). One of my very first CW posts was a vase in this shape embellished with a deep wheel-cut lattice on the bottom half. Here, they employed a technique where a floral design is left untreated, then it is overpainted and outlined in enamel, leaving a see-through floral on two sides.

Superb vase and what a craftsman Goldberg must have been !
Crazy, I love the blackness of the decor
Hi bohemianglassandmore.
I have seen a very interesting piece in cobalt blue and with the dotted reduction/reducing technique / metal oxide reduction type decoration (I don´t know exactly either ) as on the one to the right. Looking similar as Beyermann&Company glass! This piece was a Whisky bottle! And decorated by Carl Goldberg / Theodor Bienert !
It has a paper label at bottom saying CARL GOLDBERG HAIDA BOHEMIA. Very cool and unexpected.
So when searching here for a similar style of decor by Carl Goldberg I saw your piece to the right! Do you know if perhaps Theodor Bienert was involved on this one, too?
